My art is a pencil drawing with a woman with long hair, arm crossed, and eyes closed. The background is a newspaper. I created my art by sketching, blending, and gluing. This project is about going to New York with my grandma. We have always talked about going and since then it has been our dream to go and see all the buildings, shows, and food. This project faced multiple difficulties and threw me into a different direction. Which threw me off track. My project expresses the theme of New York. My goals as an artist Is to reach more creativity and express more emotion through my art. From this project I learned that I need more time to work on my project and I need to work slower and be set on what I want to draw and not switch up my project half way through. Also to just trust the process.
This piece I sketched and painted to be a pumpkin on an old wooden table. This painting is a traditional still life painting. The title of my art piece is called the lonely pumpkin. The media that my art work is made from is acrylic paint that surfaces on the paper canvas but the media I used on my sketch was a pencil and a piece of sketch paper. My goals as an artist are exploring out of my comfort zone and learning new techniques and painting styles. This piece is helping me reach my goals as an artist by learning and getting used to shading. The final piece is what I imagine it to be. This piece of art influenced my future art piece by improving my painting skills and patience.

My art piece is a close-up cut-up orange. I started sketching an orange in my sketch book, then went over and started drawing on my canvas. After I sketched on my canvas, I started painting the background black, and started stroking different values of orange on the orange. I chose to paint an orange because it symbolises passion and creativity, and I feel that art is surrounded by creativity and passion. This artwork exceeded my goal, and I feel really proud of it. This was my first time using mog podge, which made the orange glossy or "juicy I did not imagine artwork to be higher than I expected. This piece will influence my future artwork to push myself .
This art work i made was a gift for my grandmother. It's a wine glass that has a location called Octillo wells that we both love and hold memories.Tools I used to make this art piece was Acrylic markers. A challenge that I faced was the marker was getting dried out and not glossy enough so to fix my problem by using pod podge. One thing I love about this art-piece was the Octillo plants which are stringy cactus. This is my favorite art-piece so far and really proud of it!
I painted a deer in the woods with water color. I used water color marker and also water color pencils for my painting I chose to use theses two to get a soft stroking and hair like feel I decided to paint a deer cause my dog reminds me of a baby deer. Its kinda a tribute to her but in a deer in the woods kinda way.
I created this piece using an ink blowing technique, where I dropped liquid ink onto the paper and used air to push and spread it into organic, unpredictable shapes. The splatters and circular forms in the background were made by layering different amounts of black ink, letting some areas pool while others stayed light and textured. After the background dried, I used a fine-tip pen and darker ink to carefully sketch and define the car, adding detail and contrast to make it stand out. I finished the piece by going over certain lines to deepen the shadows and give it a more polished look. This artwork was inspired by my papa who owns a car just like this one, and creating it made me think about him and the memories connected to it, which made the piece feel more personal and meaningful.
I created this piece by using paint marbling, I used acrylic paint to create my art by layering bright colors, starting with a light wash for the background and adding thicker, bolder strokes on top to created look of texture. I put colors directly on the water to make soft transitions and used a brush to add fine details. I gently stirred the paint with a skewer to create swirly patterns. Being careful not to mix it too much, which can create a mix of colors. Finally, I laid a sheet of paper on top to catch the design in the water.
I created this piece using a pour painting technique, layering and tilting fluid acrylic paints to mimic the natural movement of water. I mixed different shades of blue, white, and soft sandy tones, along with a pouring medium to give the paint that smooth, flowing texture and glossy finish. As I moved the canvas, the colors blended and spread in organic patterns, forming waves, currents, and foam-like details. The ocean was my main inspiration I wanted to capture its calm yet powerful energy, the way the water shifts and swirls endlessly. The lighter areas remind me of sunlight reflecting on the surface.
I painted a Jaguar in cubism. The reason why I picked to choose to paint a jaguar in cubism is because They represent Power and dominance. The meaning behind them is that they represent inner strength and symbolize a connection to the unseen world. I made and combined my own gold colors to match and enhance the coat of the jaguar. The main challenge that brought me back was the eyes. I kept on going back and forth with the eyes being to big for them to being to small.
